Donald Trump loses it, calls for “revolution”

7:28 pm - 11/08/2012
“We should have a revolution in this country.” That was the opinion of Donald Trump after President Obama won re-election last night. But Trump doesn’t want you to know that. The Donald, for once, possibly realized he’d gone too far and tried to pretend he didn’t say that — or call for “revolution” in a second tweet as well.

But he can’t run from these screen grabs.

Like I said in the other post about Karl Rove... it was funny at first to see him so flabbergasted about losing but this is just making me angry. YOU FUCKING LOST GET THE FUCK OVER IT.

Also, you know when we should've had a revolution in this country? When Gore lost the 2000 election. But if you dared to say anything that could be taken as criticizing the president, you got told you weren't American and you were unpatriotic. Did we collectively forget that? Now Republicans are calling for secession and revolution and all kinds of other gross things, and that's okay to say.

This isn't against your post OP, please don't take it personally, it's about the media. I wish the media would treat him as he deserves, a joke who should be paid ZERO attention.

This was too funny in my mind not to submit, but I agree that they world would be a better place if everyone would just ignore Trump. I was hoping that he would just literally explode in impotent rage and save us the hassle of actively ignoring him.

Um - I have not met a single person here in Australia (and I speak with a lot of people in my job) who wasn't heartily, gloriously, deliriously happy with the election result. The Demon Mormon of Cheat Street didn't get in. We're very, very happy our major ally isn't led by a moronic,narrow-minded religious nutter.

Trump? A sad little man with a sad little toupee. Go away quickly.

Lolling forever at "Demon Mormon of Cheat Street". Classic.

What is this shit about the popular vote that comes from the right wing people all the time. Obama frickin won the popular vote. If FOX trying to create its own reality again?
hikerpoet 9th-Nov-2012 12:35 pm (UTC)
Romney was still ahead in the popular votes when they called the election, although Obama did eventually caught up. To be fair to them (even though they haven't always given us the same benefit of the doubt) some of these clips might be from them, although it is still worded misleadingly (should be "is winning" not "won").

I love how this tweet also encourages congressional gridlock, even though they deny that is what they are doing all the time.

Another hilarious freak-out:

Freepers Freak Out Over Obama Win, Pen Letter Asking the Queen of England to ‘Take Us Back’

The letter, in all it's glory:

Your Majesty,

We, the people of the former American colonies, would like to offer our most sincere apology over that little misunderstanding we had 236 years ago. Had we known that we were going to be subjects anyway, we could have saved a lot of trouble and hard feelings.

We were under the mistaken belief that we would be free, sovereign citizens; we believed that our hard work would yield its own rewards without someone coming along and taking what we built in the name of "Fairness". We thought our laws and Constitution would protect us from a foreign born dictator, and our freedom to worship would prevent us from becoming a corrupt, morally bankrupt society (silly us).

Little did we know that our own free press would intentionally sabotage, deceive and withhold the truth from us in order to reelect a Socialist that still holds distain for our nation and contempt for its founding principles. Nor did we believe that there would be so many citizens dependent on government handouts that they would blindly elect an unqualified charlatan, let alone reelect him.

Anyway, Your Grace, we are truly sorry and humbly sincerely beg your forgiveness. If you can find it in your heart to forgive us and take us back, we promise never to trade British oppression for Socialist tyranny again.

Your most humble servants,

The American People

lulz, someone needs to tell them about the NHS, the dole, all the CCTV, and the anti-hate speech laws they have over in England. >XD

...that's not real. That cannot be real.
moonbladem 9th-Nov-2012 03:55 pm (UTC)
Funny he should call for a revolution because he thought Romney had won the popular vote but lost the Electoral College. I seem to remember the same thing happening to Al Gore in 2000.

In fact, the conservatives started bitching about how the election system was broken when they thought that's what happened to Romney, and how they should do something about it. Weird how they hate it when it happens to them, but said nothing when Bush was basically handed the presidency, huh?

Today I wore this shirt especially for Mr. Trump.
