My thoughts exactly. And it's the same problem that's been steadily getting worse since the 70s. Had they not been eating their own and chasing out every reasonable member of the party with a shred of human decency (or at the very least those with the intelligence to appear reasonable and keep the disgusting rhetoric they indulge in behind closed doors), we wouldn't have slimeballs like Akin even in the running.
