And I'm sure that to the extent that a week 17 fetus is able to feel discomfort, that fetus was uncomfortable for those days of dying, and was not better off for being denied a quick end. So it wasn't even really a case of putting a fetus ahead of a woman... an idea was put ahead of both a woman and her fetus.
