I've been following the Palestinian/Israeli conflict since Bush Snr. The European media has always been hard on the American President (whoever they are) for supporting Israel.
The American media has usually sided with Israel.
I've seen little change in that trend at all.
ETA: Though Clinton did come quite closer to creating a lasting peace, before things went FUBAR.
