The moderators are getting tired of seeing multiple posts written by the same members in a short amount of time. This is called spam posting, and it will not be tolerated.
Symptoms Of Spam Posting Include:
- 7 posts submitted by the same member in two hours.
- Fugly walls of text.
- Unnecessary bumping of more interesting posts to the bottom of the community page.
- Boring entries no one wants to read.
You Can Avoid Spam Posting By:
- Checking the community to see what's submitted already.
- Posting every few hours instead of every 10 minutes.
- Not copy pasting whatever is currently on CNN/Associated Press.
- Adding your unique commentary to posts.
- Combining similar articles on the same topic into one post with an LJ-cut.
- ETA: Adding pictures or videos
Entries considered to be spam will not be approved. If the members responsible for spam posting do not clean up their act, posting privileges will be revoked!
