COWARDLY LION ADMINISTRATION SOMEHOW ACTS SO MORONIC THAT EVEN GLENN BECK MAKES SENSE. YOU HEARD ME.

Shirley Sherrod may have found an unlikely ally: Glenn Beck.
Beck defended the USDA appointee, who resigned after Big Government posted a controversial video clip of a speech she gave to the NAACP earlier this year. In the clip, she described an incident when she debated how much to help a white farmer in need of assistance, though she has said that her remarks were taken out of context.
...
Beck said on his show that he is "puzzled by this," and compared the situation to "taking a videotape of me at an AA meeting where I say, 'And you know what, I have to tell you something. I was drunk everyday. I was completely out of control," and stopping the tape before he said he found Jesus.
...
"Now if she is relating a story from 1986 to make a point about how her racial perceptions have changed, this woman deserves her job back. Again, me at AA. Something is definitely wrong here," Beck said.
WAY TO SHOW YOUR DEPARTMENT IS MOVING BEYOND DISCRIMINATION BY FIRING A BLACK WOMAN FOR TALKING ABOUT HOW SHE OVERCAME HER OWN BIAS IN LIGHT OF THE FACT THAT HER DAMN FATHER WAS KILLED BY A [WHITE] FARMER
Lol, ohhh whatever. It's the classic "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" clause where Glenn is concerned. Doesn't mean shit to me tbh, especially considering beck's on conclusion-jumping habits where race relations are concerned. Would rather not have my intelligence insulted.
The conduct of the NAACP and the Obama admin and the Dems, however, was nevertheless so fucking infuriating, I CANT EVEN. Holy god, fuck EVERYONE WITH SOMETHING HARD AND SANDPAPERY.
I came home and my dad dropped this "Glenn Beck was defending Shirley Sherrod" stuff on me and I was like "I don't even have the time or effort to process this."

A [black] woman told the story about how she wasn't sure she wanted to help a [white] farmer because of how her father was murdered by one, but she came to realize that his race wasn't important but that he was poor and in need of assistance.
Right-wing-fart-meme-machine spreads the first third of the story, claiming that the White House is hiring black people who proactively try to marginalize white people, ignoring the fact that she had a pretty legit reason to dislike white farmers, that the event took place 24 years ago, and the did her damn job in the end anyway and the people referenced in the story credit her for why they still have their farm to this day.
Ahaha, I'm honestly not so shocked by this, because Glenn Beck = irrational, raging, spittle-mouthed, sobbing-into-the-camera hatred against anything to do with Democrats/Obama. Even when they fuck up as badly as they have here, hearing him acknowledge it still wouldn't make me give half a shit about anything he says, nor does it make him sound like less of a douche. It's just the way he gains credibility with the less douchey portion of the world.
Yeah, come 2012 when all you people are back on your knees slobbing Obama's knob cause you aren't willing to demand any better I'm going to link back to all these stories where you are claiming to be infuriated by the Democrats actions.
No matter what the Obama Administration did, Glenn Beck and Fox News would have found a way to put the blame on them - that was the point of the whole thing. Of course, if they'd looked into the matter properly and stood their ground with Sherrod, it probably would have backfired on Fox and caused some damage.
What were winters were like at the Obama household back in Illinois? Did Barack even bother to see if there was rock salt in the garage or did he just figure throwing Malia under the front wheels would be the best way to go?
Not even dignifying this shit with a popcorn .gif. That is how pissed I am about this whole situation.

As far as the whole situation goes, I can't even begin to wrap my head around this fuckery. It's all so goddamned infuriating.
There's so many different levels of clustfuckery in this situation I can't even decide who I'm most disgusted with.
OIC.
