Gawker: Oregon Tea Party Borrows 4chan's Slogan
We've asked whether hacker website 4chan is a cyberbully. We've asked what they have against 11-year-old girls. But has anyone thought to ask about 4chan's political persuasion? Because Oregon's Tea Party just stole their slogan.
4chan's menacing creed has turned up in a most unlikely place. It appears in Oregon Tea Party recruitment material (and in the hands of a middle-aged Oregonian woman, left, who prefaces it with "As a Mom...") If any local Tea Party members have yet to realize where the slogan originated, that should be pretty clear as soon as 4chan finishes taking down the remains of the Oregon Tea Party's Facebook page. [Geekosystem, TNW, via Arken]
According to the page at Geekosystem, Anonymous flooded the Oregon Tea Party's page with "Desus, Heracrosses, and links to sex toy websites, among other things." The most recent update says that "The Oregon Tea Party will no longer be using the slogan." Also, the Oregon Tea Party's wall is now blank.

Heracrosses
lol, I know you're excited about /vp/ and all
but then... i rofl'd
It's not hard for me to believe.
I'm in awe. Seriously. This is fantastic.
But seriously, why would they even WANT to use that?
The Gospel of Luke, Luke 8:30
"And Jesus asked him, saying, "What is thy name?" And he said, "Legion": because many devils were entered into him."
Clearly the Tea Party thinks they are doing the Lord's work by being possessed by The Devil so Jesus would heal them... or not.
praying for your sanity, oregon tea party
(oh look, two Charisma Carpenter related gifs in a row!)
i will never stop giffing her everywhere

Or rather, AHAHAHAHA, dumbasses who didn't realize who they had messed with and ran screaming--the Oregon Teabagger's FB page is completely gone now.
