How did we manage to not have any comments on this?

The third video is just amazing.

For real! I'm disappointed, lol.

I watched this earlier, but went straight to bed after doing so (migraine from working). But I ended up watching them out of order, thinking the first was going to be the longest, and it ended up being 5 minutes. Haaaar.

The first one...I couldn't do it. I couldn't let people grab me, and beat me down. It was extremely effective, but fuck.

The second one, I had no clue those schools existed. Hopefully if I ever had kids, I'm in the area of one of those.

Three, not gonna lie, that third video made me miss my grandmother (mom's side). The emotion and memories coming from her, ugh. Very moving. I'm glad I sat down and watched these.

This made me cry and I NEVER cry. My dad got arrested many times for participating in sit-ins. He never really discussed the brutalities that he endured with me, though.

Love that first video, really took another angle of the non-violent resistance, in showing that these people themselves, weren't necessarily non-violent, but were willing to do it, because they believed in a change.

I also like the guy talking about the sympathy aspect, it doesn't get outwardly point out, but that is a huge factor of why non-violence
resistance can be so effective.

2nd, 3rd videos very inspiring. Didn't even know about METCO.
