...T-Thoughts? I mean, on one hand, opportunity to discuss the issues involved -- the website mentions child labor, apathy, hunter, etc, but... it also doesn't seem to TELL you anything, like how to help or something.

As I recall, quite a few artists on DA were selling 'Pray for Japan' art to donate money for relief, so even that was, in some cases, doing something. Just, y'know, not all of them.
I don't understand a lot of 'raising awareness' activities.

I think it's a big problem when the awareness becomes "trendy" and companies take up some measure of "awareness" to increase their sales.

For example, the pink for breast cancer products don't actually need to donate to breast cancer, if I recall.

Really? In Australia I think there's a law that, if you are associating yourself with a charity, you have to actually be giving money or donations of some sort to that charity. I could be imagining it though.

I'm in the US, I'm not sure what the laws are, but companies can pink up their products all they want and take most of the profit from it.

I'd explain more but I'm a bit tired. The thing is is that more companies exploit pink because it's profitable, pretty much.
