Cumulative GPA for 2011 is a 3.93!!!! Yeeeeeeeeah!
I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas! It's the most amazing thing ever! Any book recommendations? I'm about to go on a book buying frenzy! I will read just about anything.
We're moving into a house! Well, a duplex, but it's really nice and it's not an apartment so it's an upgrade! We'll be closer to my parents and grandma :3
I chopped all my hair off and it looks AWESOME. I've never got my hair cut professionally before. Except now I'll have to change my icon. Also my best friend got a job, yay! And she'll be working near me, yay! :D
Fiance bought me an awesome webcam and yarn for projects with loop needles (for knitting in the round) for Christmas! Then he bought Skyrim, so I get to play that as well. So far, so interesting.
I made Dean's list this semester :D And I started writing fanfic again. Admittedly, it's a MArvel Avengers/Criminal Minds crossover XD But still, it's fun.
Wedding's on Jan 8th, in India! Added to the fact that I haven't seen the family in over two years (happens when the parents retire in India when one is 14, and one is also a US citizen), and I can't wait to get on the plane on Tuesday.
The fiance's never been to India, so he's all kinds of excited too, and I'm so excited to show him where I spent a good chunk of time growing up. XD
I made cornish hens for dinner for the first time, along with mashed sweet potatoes (made with buttermilk and pumpkin pie spices) and it was totally DELICIOUS.
This week I managed a major overhaul for my business (I'm a sole proprietor). New graphics, new business card, put up a big new update of new items, and generally was productive like a boss.
Now I get to drink ginger apple hard cider, have my husband cook me dinner, and sleep in tomorrow. WOOT.
I got to go to Vancouver and pick up my son for Christmas! I don't know who was more excited for the holidays, the fiance or the kid.
Got all my presents done a week early!
And for the biggest shocker of all: On Weds night I found out from my sister that we have a half sister! We knew our mom had a baby before I was born (I'm the oldest, well was..)and she is looking for mom! Huge news for our family.
i haven't slept in 3 days but I THINK I CAN TONIGHT because I realized it was probably the new meds I got so I didn't take them and now I'm TIRED IT'S SO EXCITING. also my boyfriend and i celebrated our anniversary today and i hope i remember it tomorrow because my brain has been hazy from sleep deprivation.
I am most of the way through my certification as a tax preparer--did my first 3 1040s in the automated system today and got everything right on the first try! Gonna NEED to be able to put them through BINGBANGBOOM 'cause I'm being assigned to a kiosk inside a WalMart. Taxes + WallyWorld is probably going to make public library patrons look very sane by comparison.
And I say this as a woman who has had to process interlibrary loan requests for books about the miraculous mercury vortex generators used to power Atlantis. To borrow a line from Dave Barry, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP.

Bought a PS3 with my bonus money. Been playing Skyrim.
Been taking better care of my mental health. I'm finding my calm, centered place again very slowly.
Also, working on my law school essay...brain ded. Not so Sparta, but the end is in sight!
ALSO THE PEOPLE AT MY INTERNSHIP LOVED ME, AND WILL TOTALLY GIVE ME JOB RECOMMENDATIONS.
ALSO ALSO, I GOT MY MLIS, BITCHES. I AM A FUCKING LIBRARIAN, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
We are both happy little people. *gleeeeeee*
