Appearing on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on Monday downplayed her well-documented history of anti-gay sentiment, and called Morgan “absolutely rude” for suggesting that she has been judgmental of the gay community.
“I’m not a judgmental person,” said Bachmann, to which Morgan replied, “Really?”
Morgan reminded Bachmann of her remarks at a 2004 National Education Leadership Conference when she said that homosexuality was “a very sad life,” and called it “part of Satan:”
“If you’re involved in the gay and lesbian lifestyle, it’s bondage. It is personal bondage, personal despair and personal enslavement. And that’s why this is so dangerous.”

The scene where he yells at God in the cathedral... IN LATIN... *handsflail*
Basically, it says that Christians are exempt from all the laws in Leviticus, Deuteronomy, etc, except for the ones dealing with "morality" - so Christian homophobes will choose to follow the part about homosexuality while ignoring the ones about eating shrimp, wearing 2 fabrics, etc. They're not exctly violating their own religion by picking and choosing. There are plenty of other ways to criticize Christian homophobes on both secular and religious (render unto Caesar for one) grounds.
Not even all Jews follow that stuff, there are gay Orthodox Jews, going in the opposite direction.
