I don't know, the 2000 will make me forever gun-shy. The tinfoil hat side of me sees the So-Called Liberal Media setting up the "Obama's Failed at Everything" plot, the Rocky role is being written for Santorum, and, when they settle upon which beverage they think would be awesome to have with the guy (I would wager Ovaltine, but not if it's hot -- that's the devil's temperature...), they're as likely to decide now, like then, that the incumbent is old meme and that the plucky come-from-behind challenger is the new hotness.
I see it now: In a debate Obama will slay with facts and his accomplishments in office and he will be deemed too professorial/elitist/snobby/smug, ergo Santorum -- if he keeps from completely crapping the bed (enjoy the softball, guys) -- wins by default.
