considering the crap that the country is going through right now, you'd figure people would, for once, focus on the issues. i hope they do, 'cause god knows we're fucked in mcpalin wins.
I think the country's issues are definitely affecting the voter's sway, but unfortunately since the country has become so divided in the past decade or so, that only means a 5-10% difference :(
