Two and a Half Men Show Creator is misogynistic. News at 11

TORONTO – Two and a Half Men co-creator Lee Aronsohn insists Ashton Kutcher wants to return to the hit TV sitcom for a tenth season. CBS just needs to write a big check to keep Kutcher and co-star Jon Cryer on board.
"All Ashton has said is he likes working with us and would like to do more. … It's just a basic negotiation between CBS and the actors because CBS is picking up the tab," Aronsohn told The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday while attending the Toronto Screenwriting Conference.
"They’re (CBS and Warner Bros.) trying to make a deal that will allow the show to remain profitable, to remain on the air," he added. Aronsohn’s comments follow negotiations to bring CBS' Two and a Half Men back for a tenth season, the first without Charlie Sheen, apparently nearing a successful conclusion.
Kutcher last year signed a one-year deal to test whether he could replace Sheen on the sitcom’s reboot, and CBS is looking to renew for another season. Aronsohn also appears in no hurry to pull the plug on the highly-watched sitcom, especially when a large crew depends on Two and a Half Men for their livelihood. "While it’s nice to go out on the top, it’s hard to look people in the face and say, we're going out because I made my money," he insisted.
Besides, the male sitcom writer isn't a fan of the current crop of female-centered comedies like Whitney and Two Broke Girls.

"Enough ladies. I get it. You have periods," Aronsohn commented.

He applauded women like Whitney Cummings, Chelsea Handler and Tina Fey securing a voice to discuss formerly taboo subjects on TV.

"But we’re approaching peak vagina on television, the point of labia saturation," he added.
The current female TV boom contrasts with Two and a Half Men mostly portraying women as bimbos, something Aronsohn isn't about to apologize for.

“Screw it… We're centering the show on two very damaged men. What makes men damaged? Sorry, it’s women. I never got my heart broken by a man,” Aronsohn earlier told the Toronto conference during a keynote address.
Later, he clarified by insisting he was hardly one to take the moral high ground. "We do far too many fart jokes on Two and a Half Men. I’m the last person to judge," he conceded.

Walowitz makes me so pissed that I can barely watch that show. Between him and Leonard, just ... ugh. I love Penny & Sheldon (& Raj for the most part), but those two make me want to punch things.

He's awful. I like Leonard as a straight man but Wallowitz is disgusting. The episode where he took a picture of Penny sleeping on his shoulder and then posted it to Facebook? WHAT THE FUCK.

Leonard and his Nice Guy routine bothers the shit out of me. All that passive-aggressive bullshit, stealing Penny's mail, just ... augh. The whole first season smacked too much of "let me do all these nice things for you so you'll feel obligated to sleep with me!" Ew.

The one that I remember most is the "negs" episode. "How is 'I want to do you' anything but a compliment?" Seriously? Go fuck yourself. (Although, let's be honest, he's gross in every fucking episode.)

He is a nasty little fucker. I actually just came across a blog post and promptly lost it, more about Wallowitz being portrayed with nasty stereotypes. Nothing much about his misogyny and stalkerish behavior but it's full of good points! I hate it when I lose good posts.

I can't stand Leonard for the most part because he is the epitome of a Nice Guy. He's even worse, because at least most Nice Guys are a bit more subtle - he just FLAT OUT SAYS "I'm doing this just so you'll sleep with me!"

The only reason I fangirl for the show is because of Penny and Sheldon, and Raj.
