George Zimmerman's Injuries The Night Of The Martin Shooting

11:06 pm - 05/17/2012
After months of feet dragging, covers up and outright lies by the Sanford police department and the national media, the photographs of George Zimmerman’s injuries the night he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin have finally been released.

The good quality photos show superficial scratches on Zimmerman’s face and on the back of his head. The photos do not prove Zimmerman’s claims that he was in a life and death struggle with the unarmed teenager when he shot and killed him
Zimmerman’s father, Robert Zimmerman, and a family physician claims Zimmerman had two black eyes and a broken nose as the result of a scuffle with Trayvon. The photos show no evidence of those injuries.

In fact, singer Rihanna’s face looked worse than George Zimmerman’s the night she was beaten to a pulp by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009.

Zimmerman’s photos were released by the state attorney’s office today in accordance with Florida public record law. The law requires the state to share evidence with both the defendant and the public.

There is no evidence to support that George Zimmerman was being "beaten to death". The injuries in this post are not consistent with that.

"I guarantee that if the circumstances were exactly identical in every way with evidence that's exactly identical in every way and the skin color of Trayvon was different, there would be no national story and the foaming-at-the-mouth hate would all but vanish."

This is absolutely true. If a black man shot a white teengager in the exact same circumstances as this, he would have been arrested on the spot, immediately charged and likely would have received the maximum possible sentence.

"The captain of the neighborhood watch legally follows someone around that he believes to be suspicious?"

1. Wasn't a legally registered neighborhood watch
2. Neighborhood watch members are not supposed to be armed
3. Neighborhood watch members are supposed to call the police and not take the law into their own hands by stalking and shooting people they think look suspicious.
This is NOT normal neighborhood watch behavior.

"There is no evidence to support that George Zimmerman was being 'beaten to death'."

I know and I didn't say that the injuries were consistent with "being beaten to death." I brought up that standard because an earlier commentator said that even if Zimmerman was being beaten to death, he had no justification for using lethal force. My point is that if you're being beaten to death, you have an inherent right to save your life by whatever means necessary.

"If a black man shot a white teengager in the exact same circumstances as this, he would have been arrested on the spot, immediately charged and likely would have received the maximum possible sentence."

That's utterly absurd.

"Wasn't a legally registered neighborhood watch."

George Zimmerman wasn't or the neighborhood watch in the gated community wasn't?

"Neighborhood watch members are not supposed to be armed."

Which is a really nice happy thought but it begs the question: if you make it a habit to carry your legal weapon with you on a regular basis, what sane person would leave it home when they're on the lookout for criminals who might be inclined to target them?

"Neighborhood watch members are supposed to call the police and not take the law into their own hands by stalking and shooting people they think look suspicious."

Evidence is that Zimmerman did not stalk Martin and the current claim is that he didn't shoot him until after getting injured. "Stalk and shoot" implies that you hunt someone down and shoot them when you get an opportunity and only crazy black women in stupid hats with incredibly grating voices claim that Zimmerman hunted Martin down (I'm only using that description because I've never seen anyone use the woman's name when they broadcast her stupid comments about the case).

That's what the "reply" button is for- when you wish to address a specific point a specific individual brought up.

And basically everything else you have said is here is incredibly stupid and not worth responding to.

I did reply directly to that person but since it was an argument that was chilling and stuck in my mind, I brought it up a second time when I wrote my own original post.

"And basically everything else you have said is here is incredibly stupid and not worth responding to."

Yeah, I was waiting for you to take your ball and stomp off. Thanks for playing and giving me a few minutes of amusement.

Can I just say thank you for posting a good majority of what I've been thinking, and doing it eloquently?

You may, and I appreciate the compliment. :)

*sigh* You're a lost cause. This is why you weren't getting very many replies. There's no help for willful ignorance. No one is going to convince you otherwise since you already have your mind made up.

I know there's no help for willful ignorance, Jadeone2many, but I'm doing what I can for you guys. :) My mind is indeed made up, but that's because I came to the table with an open mind and fit the available evidence together in a straightforward and logical manner. What the majority of other people appear to have done was decide what happened first and came to the evidence looking for ways to twist it to fit into what they believed had happened. The advantage my approach has is that I don't have to contort myself into pretzels as more and more evidence proving my point comes to light.
