The 14-year-old West Virginia-based radio host who declared on a recent show that President Obama "is making kids gay" has been deemed "offensive," and taken off the air, by a second internet media outlet.
On Friday, Spreaker, a free audio platform that hosts radio shows, pulled the Caiden Cowger Program, replacing the page with a note that now reads "Spreaker has deleted this show due to offensive contents."
Cowger hosts a twice-weekly show. Last month, he declared on a show that being homosexual was a "perverted belief, it's immoral and not natural." As the Huffington Post previously noted, Cowger mentioned that he was previously friends with some kids who later came out of the closet. "They were not homosexuals [then]...they just decided all of a sudden, 'I think I'm going to be gay,'" Then he concluded, "I'm going to tell you this, guys: President Obama...Vice President Biden...is making kids gay!"
According to website Zimbio, Youtube deemed the video, titled, "Obama is making kids gay" hate speech and removed it from the site. But on Cowger's website, he claimed his YouTube account was hacked and then closed and Cowger has since launched a new YouTube channel.
Rhonda Mangus, the mother of bullied gay teen Michael Mangus, led the charge to remove Cowger's program from Spreaker. Under the Terms of Service on Spreaker's website, the site says user submissions to the site must not be "unlawful, defamatory, libellous, slanderous, threatening, pornographic, obscene, vulgar, harassing, harmful, hateful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive or is otherwise inappropriate."

Sure he should know and sure this will teach him a lesson. That's all fine and well. I'm glad his show was canceled. I was just saying he's not an adult with an adults understanding. That's all.
The kid knows what he is doing. He's going to show up somewhere else with the same hate. This isn't any teenage immaturity.
Do you see how this works? He's immature. He's never know what a shitload of hate directed at a person feels like. He's going to be accruing a lot of hate over this. Then he'll, hopefully, understand what it feels like to be hated and he'll STFU. That's how life works.
This kind of immaturity isn't a function of being 14 years of age. It's insulting to teenagers to say it is. Most teenagers have the sense to stop when being told what they are doing is wrong and hateful.
He's not learning a damn thing over this. It states clearly that he's started yet another youtube account to continue his hate after being banned from the show and youtube. As for learning what hate feels like as a come-uppance, that applies to anyone of any age. We can only hope this is how life works. Any hate he's recieving he's probably going have a martyr complex over. Just like the grown ups do.
I think it's time to stop asserting that at 14 kids don't have a full grasp as a justification in this case. Remember, in your own words, I was an exceptional case? So, this kid is an exceptional case in his way.
I haven't said that he shouldn't be punish. I'm just saying he's not an adult because he's not.
Understand does NOT mean condoning. Understanding does NOT mean you are giving that person an excuse or that you are writing off his misbehavior. Do you think criminal profilers, who study serial killers to the point that they understand those kinds of people, sit back and say: "go little serial killer. Go kill. I understand you and thus I'm giving you a pass to butcher people. Spread those psychopath wings and fly free!"
This kind of immaturity isn't a function of being 14 years of age.
Really? Come on. This is a ridiculous statement.
As for learning what hate feels like as a come-uppance, that applies to anyone of any age.
Where the hell did I say it didn't?
I think it's time to stop asserting that at 14 kids don't have a full grasp as a justification in this case.
I AM NOT JUSTIFYING! I AM NOT CONDONING! I AM NOT GIVING HIM A FREAKING PASS! Okay? How many times do I need to type that out? Maybe in your world trying to understand someones motive is akin to justifying their behavior but it isn't in mine.
So, this kid is an exceptional case in his way.
LOL, no. He's not. He's pathetically unexceptional. Hate is the easiest thing to parrot. If he's saying such things over the radio, it's with the blessings of his family and friends. No one learns hate on their own. It's exceptional to go across the grain. You're a sheep when you just follow what everyone around you is doing/saying.
You're entire premise is that 14 is too young to fully understand what this kid is doing. What you are doing is making apologetics for the kid's age. And it's dismissive of what is been done to those he has bullied.
