A Canadian mining company has lost its bid to block a lawsuit accusing it of human rights abuses against miners in Eritrea after a ruling by an appeals court in British Columbia.

OP: I think this is a good example of how corporations need to be held to account when it comes to who they do business with. Even if Nevsun wins this lawsuit, the fact remains that they have helped the Eritrean regime and turned a blind eye to its human rights abuses, simply by doing business with them.

OP: Also, to the mods, there is no Eritrea tag?
