Can we keep each other company so we don't go and kill the dumbasses?
PS - If I have to tell one more person to STFU on Twitter, I may ... well, I'll keep doing it. But, seriously, it's a meme that's been going on for quite some time. Get with the program.

Why isn't BBC News a standard? goddam.
acmeeoy 16th-Jun-2009 11:07 pm (UTC)
It's not exciting/entertaining enough. At least, that's how my classmates over the years would have ranked it.

Thanks everyone for updating while I was away from the computer! I'm scared for the protesters now because of the raids and everything.

THANK GOD FOR BBC AMERICA.

Fox Report W/ Shepard Smith actually has decent reporting right now fyi, if anyone's sick of CNN. o_O

Despite all of this chaos and horror, this makes me so proud of our, *my*, generation. The youth of the world today gives me so much hope, despite the dumbass friends I have here. It's not just about people at home now, it's about all of us. And this rally gives me hope that the future really will be a good place to be.

This BBC America coverage is such a relief. They're covering the Basij attacking universities, they're analyzing recent events, they're knowledgeable and I love them so much. It's such a change from that CNN shit.
doublekill 16th-Jun-2009 11:07 pm (UTC)
What's BBC saying? I don't have it.
one_hoopy_frood 16th-Jun-2009 11:08 pm (UTC)
They're covering amazing footage that was sent to them via BBC Persia through the internet. It's actually stuff I've not seen before. It's pretty amazing.
horcrionebay 16th-Jun-2009 11:07 pm (UTC)
I followed everyone who posted their twitter names on this page btw.
I'm horcrionebay on twitter as well :)

Is it true that Mousavi conceded to Ahmedinejad?? If he did, I think he did it with the intent to stop violence. People are willing to die... and I don't care if it's a "duh" moment: anyone who's willing to die for a cause, I will always find myself in an "Oh my god" state of mind about it.
one_hoopy_frood 16th-Jun-2009 11:09 pm (UTC)
ProtesterHelp Don't always assume RTs are truly from who they say they are. Mousavi has not conceded! موسوي واگذار نشده است

I guess that answers that.
