Since they’ve had no luck finding worthwhile partners thus far (what with the rise of metrosexualism), they’ve decided to schedule a three-day martial arts tournament in the hopes of finding suitable matches.
Meet Xiao Lin, 22, and her little sister Yin, 21, two kung fu sisters who’re sick and tired of all the weak, ‘girly men’ lining the streets of China. They’ve tried looking everywhere, but to no avail.
“We tried dating agencies but the men we met were all to weak,” Yin told a Metro reporter. “We could beat them easily.”
Indeed. What woman wants to date a man who’s not only weaker than her, but who even cries to ‘Chinese Old Yeller.’ Now that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is a shame!
Regardless, the competition will occur in Foushan and feature a bevy of difficult challenges. Suitors must prove themselves in archery, and by carrying heavy weights over sharp bamboo spears. Once they’ve managed both tasks, they must then go head-to-head in full-contact combat against whichever sister they desire to wed. And they’ll have the option of either using their hands or a weapon.
There is however one underlying caveat. Both sisters will be wearing masks throughout the whole proceeding. Once and only once a suitor wins the match will he be allowed to view his future wifey in her entirety. And well, this has some of the men who’ve signed up for the challenge concerned.
“I’m a very good martial artist, but I think I’d want to see them with the masks off before I decided whether I wanted to fight for them,” said one such fellow.
I couldn’t agree more. It’d be quite a shame to spend months training to fight for love, only to discover you’ve won a butterface! Regardless, we at WAN wish both the sisters and all their suitors much luck!
